The popular Anantara Veli Resort, located in the beautiful island nation of the Maldives, is saying hello to a new program that gives those with a passion for the Maldives a reason to visit over and over again in a year's time. Their new yearly pass includes unlimited access to an overwater villa and the rest of the resort for a full year. Though the package itself isn't cheap at $30,000 US dollars, if you are planning on visiting the Maldives a few times next year, you could save a nice chunk of change by going this route.
This package includes use of a two person overwater villa as well as various discounts and add-ons that include scuba diving, snorkeling, cooking lessons and treatments at the resort's spa.
Where does the sewage go? Into the sea?
D I,
Believe it or not, the overwater villas all have running water and electricity and sewage systems. Since most guests swim under the villa frequently, it would be very noticeable if they didn’t have proper hygiene. Great question. -Roger
