A sister hotel to the Kuda-Funafaru Maldives, which opened to glowing reviews, the Dholhiyadhoo Resort and Spa by Zitahli is also a top notch resort treating guests like kings and queens. There are 100 total villas here, 65 of which are of the overwater bungalow variety, and all of them are huge, with the largest category having two levels.
This is certainly a super-deluxe 5-star resort with prices to match, so it will be slotting itself into the highest category for the Maldives. There is, of course, the usual wide variety of water sports and other activities, plus a first-class spa.
The Dholhiyadhoo Resort is located in the Shaviyani Atoll, in the northern section of the Maldives, about 250 kilometers from Malé International Airport.

To reach the Zitahli Dholhiyadhoo Resort you’ll first fly to Malé International Airport. From there you’ll be greeted by resort staff and helped aboard a sea plane for the 50-minute flight to Dholhiyadhoo Island and the hotel itself.
Reviews of the Zitahli Dholhiyadhoo Resort are excellent, just as you’d expect of an exclusive super-luxury resort. The setting, the huge villas, and especially the service get very high marks. The resort is popular with an international crowd, and there seems to be very little to complain about it, at least for those who can afford it.
