Found between the popular cities of Hue and Hoi An in Vietnam, the Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa serves as a relaxing getaway that offers privacy to all guests. Along with several types of land rooms, guests here will also find overwater villas to choose from, with some offering one bedroom stays and others offering two bedrooms. These 5-star rooms feature a long list of amenities, ranging from air conditioning and Wi-Fi to 24 hour room service, bathrobes, and a private outdoor deck.
Outside of the rooms you'll find a spa, various dining selections (including a private romantic dinner option), tours and a kid's club if you decide to visit with the younger members of your family. With that said, this resort is more suited for romantic couples, but there are still plenty of families that have a great time here. Though the resort does look different from many of the overwater resorts you'll find in the Maldives and the South Pacific islands, you'll find plenty of great lagoon views alongside mountain views for a much lower nightly rate.

On-site you’ll find the Vedana Wellness & Spa. At this spa you’ll be treated to long list of spa treatments that include, but are not limited to, nail care, baths, body scrubs, and facials. If you’re traveling with children in tow, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the children’s spa menu which is designed for children 12 and under.
To reach the Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa you’ll first fly into either the Hue Airport or the Danang Airport. Then you’ll hire a local taxi to drive you to the resort.
Reviews for the Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa are nearly all positive, which is very impressive for an overwater resort with such low nightly rates. One of the biggest highlights for guests is the location of the resort. Because it is situated at the very end of a ‘point’ and on 27 hectares of jungle land that’s surrounded by lagoon on three sides, there aren’t any other hotels right next to you, helping to grant you even more privacy. There are a few guests who ended up not liking the distant location, but those guests didn’t seem to realize what they were booking beforehand.
Other positive features of the resort that are highly praised are front desk staff, the food and the views of the lush jungle mountains and the lagoon. Many guests feel that if you’re looking for a romantic destination, this resort is a solid choice.
