This is one of the smallest and most intimate island resorts in the Maldives, and is very popular among honeymooners and those on romantic retreats.
There are two gourmet restaurants and one bar, as well as a great number of water sports possibilities, but still this island definitely has a boutique feel and might not be the best choice for families or groups. For a 5-star resort the prices for the water villas are quite affordable, making this one of the better values in the area for those looking for a small and secluded resort.

To reach the Vivanta by Taj Coral Reef Resort you’ll need to fly to the main Malé International Airport in the Maldives. From there you’ll be met by hotel staff who will put you on a speedboat for the 60-minute ride to the small island where the resort lies, or on a sea plane for a 20-minute flight.
Reviews of the Vivanta by Taj Coral Reef Resort are generally excellent, with nearly everyone being impressed by the 5-star standards of the hotel. The rooms get high marks, especially for the water villas, as does the setting and the food.
