A beautiful Caribbean all-inclusive resort located on the island of Jamaica, the Sandals South Coast resort, formally known as the Sandals Whitehouse European Village & Spa, is a paradise all on its own. Here guests will find a beautiful white sand beach stretching 2 miles long along with a lush nature preserve spanning 500 acres. The resort itself is spread out among 50 acres and is divided into distinctive European Villages, offering charm in every direction.
Guests will also find several pools here, including one that is as Jamaica's largest. In addition, guests can take the opportunity to enjoy one of the resort's many water sports, including snorkeling and kayaking along with one of the nine different restaurants and a large spa. Because this resort acts on an all-inclusive basis, you'll find that all on-site food and beverages are included, as well as the use of facilities and resort water sport equipment. However, rooms rates are astronomically higher for 1 and 2 night stays in comparison to those lasting 3 nights or longer.
The Sandals South Coast resort is located on Jamaica’s south coast about an hour away from the town of Montego Bay.
Important note: If you search rates for one or two nights in an overwater villa it will usually show US$8,300 per night for two people, but if you check for three nights the rate will be just over US$3,000 per night. In other words, it’s pointless to plan or even research a stay of less than 3 nights in an overwater villa.
Beach rooms at Sandals start around US$500 per night per couple all-inclusive. If the overwater bungalows are too expensive or unavailable then Sandals still might be your best all-inclusive choice in the Caribbean.

The Red Land Spa offers a beauty salon, a gym, various treatment rooms, a steam room, plunge pools and a yoga and pilates studio.
To reach the resort you check in to the Sandals lounge at the Montego Bay Airport. Shortly after that you’ll be assigned a Sandals shuttle van or bus that will take you directly to the resort. The round-trip airport transportation is included in the room rates.
After having visited all three resorts I decided to compare and contrast them to help people confidently choose the right one for their needs.
Reviews for the Sandals South Coast resort are extremely positive with almost all guests stating that they loved their stay at the resort and would happily return for another visit. The highlights include the pools, private beach and ample dining choices. In fact, a great number of guests raved over and over again about the beach view from their room, stating that it’s a view of a a lifetime. Because of its location away from any local towns, this resort is prefect for those seeking the upmost in luxury coupled with privacy.
