To reach the Mirihi Island Resort you’ll first fly to Malé International Airport. From there you’ll be greeted by resort staff and helped aboard a sea plane for the 30-minute flight to Mirihi Island and the hotel itself.
Reviews for the Mirihi Island Resort are amazingly positive, which is all the more impressive since this is one of the more affordable overwater villa resorts in the Maldives. The small private-island setting and the diving and snorkeling at the house reef receive great praise, as does the quality of the rooms and the service and the food.
This resort is certainly not for everybody, as it’s quite small, there is basically no nightlife, and almost no facilities for children. But those things also make it perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary trip, especially those without unlimited financial resources.
