With a remote location well south of the main Maldives Airport, the Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives (formerly known as Chaaya Lagoon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives) is a small private-island resort that seems to offer excellent value in its price category, especially considering it operates on an all-inclusive basis. Featuring 70 overwater rooms in addition to 10 on the island, this hotel has more of a boutique feel than many others of similar size.
The island is only 6 acres in size and the list of daytime activities isn't as long as many other resorts, so this would be a good choice for honeymoon couples or others on a romantic getaway. The snorkeling and scuba diving in the nearby house reef are top notch, and the food in the restaurant is at a level that is surprising considering the modest overall room prices for the Maldives.
The Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives Resort is located in the Mulaku Atoll, about 145 kilometers south of Malé International Airport in the Maldives.

The Sanctuary Spa at the Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives features 2 double rooms, one double room with Jacuzzi and a Spa Boutique offering guests the total spa experience.
To reach the Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives Resort you’ll need to fly to the main Malé International Airport in the Maldives. From there you’ll be met by hotel staff who will put you on a sea plane for the 45-minute flight to the resort itself.
The Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives Resort gets generally excellent reviews from previous guests, which is unusual in this moderate price category. The rooms are described as large and comfortable, the food gets raves, and the staff in particular get very high marks from past guests.
Some mention that the water at the beach by the dining room is always somewhat shallow so swimming isn’t necessarily easy, but that there are twice-daily free boat trips out to the nearby house reef for excellent snorkeling and swimming. Considering the price, the Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives appears to be fantastic value for a Maldives resort.
