An all-inclusive Maldives resort featuring 62 water villas in addition to 42 island rooms and suites, the Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa is a well-regarded 4-star private-island hotel. Even the normal all-inclusive service is luxurious, but the Centara also has its Island Club level where guests pay extra for access to another restaurant, food & drink choices, and another pool area.
The water villas are all quite large, even by Maldives standards, and all include a Jacuzzi spa and rain shower in the bathroom. Each also has a separate living room and private deck, and the larger ones have a 2-level sundeck. For a premium all-inclusive experience, the Centara Grand Island Resort is certainly worth consideration.
The Centara Grand Island Resort is located in South Ari Atoll (Alifu Atoll), about 80 kilometers southwest of Malé International Airport in the Maldives.

To reach the Centara Grand Island Resort you’ll need to fly to the main Malé International Airport in the Maldives. From there you’ll be met by hotel staff who will put you on a sea-plane for the 25-minute flight to the small island where the resort lies.
The Centara Grand Island Resort gets generally excellent reviews from nearly every past guest. The size and luxury of the rooms get high marks, as do the service and staff in general. The food is rated highly for quality and variety, which isn’t something that is typical at all-inclusive resorts. The snorkeling is also a positive experience with many guests raving about both the water and sea life.
Those who paid extra from the premium Island Club area seemed quite happy with the additional restaurant, pool, food, and activities, but even those who passed on it felt they had plenty of choices and got great value. The Centara Grand Island Resort appears to be a very solid choice among all-inclusive Maldives hotels in its price range.
